Travis Lucero
Travis Lucero is the Color Guard Instructor for Bingham High School’s Marching Band and Winter Color Guard. Currently teaching welding and auto body repair at BHS, Mr. Lucero has been involved in the Color Guard activity since his freshman year at Jordan High School in 1995. During his three years there, Travis was guard captain his junior and senior years which were also the two years that the Jordan Winter Guard won back-to-back State championships.
After high school, Mr. Lucero attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando where he performed with the WGI Winter Guard there under DCI’s Mike James. Returning to Utah, Mr. Lucero performed a season with Urban Expressions before his career path brought him to Bingham as a full-time faculty member. Travis & his wife Desiree make their home in Draper UT with their two dogs Butchena & Cloe.
