Aric Farnsworth
Aric Farnsworth was raised in Boulder, Colorado. He began his drumming experience at age eight, taking private instruction from Don Newby, a studio drummer. He attended Fairview High School, where he spent two years as the center snare and section leader. He was also honored by being invited to play latin percussion with the Colorado All Star Jazz Band. Aric has pursued a comprehensive education in rudimental drumming. He had the opportunity to receive private instruction from accomplished performers such as Jeff Queen, Nic Angelis, and Scott Reno.
Aric has always been an active composer of drumline cadences and warm-ups. Presently, Aric attends BYU as a Civil Engineering Major with a Minor in Music. He was a member of the BYU Snare Drum Line for two years.
